FINALLY, BIRDS ARE SAFE.
We spread DIRECTV’s satellite-free gospel by turning old dishes into safe spaces where baseball’s feathered fans could enjoy a game. To help, we enlisted someone who knows more about the dangers birds face at real ballparks than anyone: Hall-of-Famer and notorious bird-exploder, Randy Johnson.
Some people speculated this might inspire Michael to bury the hatchet with longtime rival Isiah Thomas. We told them the same thing we told Jordan’s wife, Yvette, when she asked us to get him to quit the stogies: “You don’t know Mike!”
Anyway, we actually made these ballparks and gave them away to a few lucky fans.
very improbably, OUR BIRD BALLPARK ended up in the Baseball Hall of Fame!
Just don’t bring this up around Mike — he’s still bitter his baseball career kind of fizzled out.
